Self-catering stay
Both properties are fully self-catering. Kitchens are equipped for real cooking, not just a kettle and a microwave. Linen, towels, heating, Wi-Fi and firewood are included.
How a stay works
Self-catering, private, and set up for a proper stay — whether you take the pub on its own or open the doors through to the house.
Both properties are fully self-catering. Kitchens are equipped for real cooking, not just a kettle and a microwave. Linen, towels, heating, Wi-Fi and firewood are included.
The original bar, optics, taps and dartboard stay in place. We provide the taps, cooler and gas. Guests bring their own kegs and other drinks to stock their own private bar.
Book both properties for larger groups. Two lockable connecting doors can be opened so Conroy's becomes the gathering place while the house provides the extra bedrooms.
Direct access to the back garden, outdoor seating, BBQ and off-road parking. On clear nights the dark country skies are part of the stay.
If you need extra services during your stay — extra cleaning, additional firewood, or help with a special occasion — ask when you enquire. Any extras are charged separately and deducted from the security deposit if needed.
House rules
Full payment is due upon confirmation of booking. This payment will include a refundable security deposit of €300. The security deposit will be returned after your stay, provided there are no additional charges for extras, services or damage to the property.
A full refund will be given if cancellation notice is received at least 30 days before the first day of your stay. A 50% refund will be given if cancellation notice is received at least 7 days before the first day of your stay. No refund will be given if cancellation notice is received within 7 days of the first day of your stay.
A minimum stay of two nights applies throughout the year. Rates may vary during bank holiday weekends, Christmas week, and other peak periods.
Check-in is from 3:00 pm. Check-out is by 11:00 am.
The pub has not held an alcohol licence since 2002, so we do not sell or provide alcoholic drinks. Bottles on display behind the bar are empty. We provide the taps, cooler and gas. Guests bring their own kegs and other drinks to stock their own private bar. The optics are free for guests to use.
For the comfort, privacy, and security of all guests, only registered paying guests are permitted on the property. External or unregistered visitors are not allowed under any circumstances.
We are unable to accommodate pets.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the pub or the house.
Unfortunately, due to some narrow doorways, the property is not fully wheelchair accessible and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
